1. What GlucoBeat is

GlucoBeat is a free web service to keep a personal diary of glucose and events (meals, exercise, insulin, medication, sleep and notes), see it in charts and statistics, share it in read-only mode and, optionally, request informational AI-generated analyses.

2. It is not a medical device

GlucoBeat does not diagnose, treat or prevent diseases, nor recommend doses of insulin or medication. It does not raise alarms. Statistics, forecasts and analyses are informational, may contain errors and do not replace the judgement of your doctor or healthcare team. In an emergency call 112 (or your local emergency number).

3. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you log and for protecting access to your email. Only mark as trusted the devices you use yourself. You can close sessions and delete your account at any time.

4. Third-party integrations

The LibreView CSV import uses a file you download from Abbott. LibreLinkUp sync is a beta feature that uses an unofficial Abbott interface: it may fail or stop working without notice, and you enable it at your own risk.

5. Artificial intelligence

AI features are only used if you enable them. Their answers are generated automatically, may be inaccurate and are filtered to exclude treatment advice. Use them as a starting point to talk with your healthcare team.

6. Sharing

When you invite someone, they will be able to see your charts and events for the chosen period. You can revoke access whenever you want. Whoever receives access agrees to use that data only to support you and not to disclose it.

7. Price

The service is free. Some AI features have usage limits. In the future we may offer an optional paid plan with higher limits; if so, we will inform you beforehand and you will never be charged without your explicit acceptance.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use the service for unlawful purposes, try to access other people's data, automate abusive requests or interfere with its operation.

9. Liability

We provide the service diligently but without guaranteeing it is free of interruptions or errors. To the extent permitted by law, and without prejudice to your consumer rights, we are not liable for health decisions made solely on the basis of the app's information.

10. Changes and cancellation

We may update these terms; we will notify you of relevant changes. You can cancel at any time from Settings → My data.
