Your patients' diary between appointments, free for both of you

Your patients log what they eat, what they inject and what they do; their sensor adds the readings. You see it all in order, any day you like, without waiting for the next appointment or relying on what they remember.

Three steps, and none of them costs you anything

There's no doctor dashboard, no licences and no accounts to manage: it's the same app, with a profile that doesn't log data of its own.

  1. Create your account as a supporter

Sign in with your email and, when setting up your profile, choose “I support someone”. With that profile GlucoBeat doesn't ask for your glucose or your treatment: it only shows you what the people who invite you share.

You don't need a sensor either, or anything of your own: the account exists only to look.

    Profile type
    Type 2 diabetes
With or without medication or insulin. Focus: meals, activity, medication and routine.
    I support someone
I don't log my own data: I only want to see someone who invites me.
  2. Your patient shares their diary

They go to Settings → Who sees my data, enter your email and choose for how long (a week, a month, three, a year or no end date). They get the invitation and that's it.

They give you the access, not us: they can take it away at any moment and you can't request it from inside.

    Can see
    • Your glucose charts and statistics.
    • What you log: meals, exercise, sleep, medication…
    Can't
    • Add, change or delete anything.
    • Open your settings.
  3. You follow your patient in real time

Under “Following” you have everyone who invited you. Open their diary and you see their day, their time in range, their statistics and the effect of every meal, every walk and every dose. If their sensor is connected, readings arrive on their own every few minutes.

And you can keep your own notes on them, visible only to you: not to the patient, not to anyone else.

What you see of each patient

  • Their whole day: the sensor curve with what they logged on top, at the time it happened.
  • Their statistics: time in range, average, variability and the profile of a typical day (AGP).
  • The measured effect of each event: how much that meal raised them, how much that walk brought them down.
  • What they log for medication and insulin, with the exact time.
  • Your private notes about them, inside their own card.

What it isn't, and what you can't do

  • It is not a medical device: it doesn't diagnose, interpret or recommend doses. It's your patient's diary, in order.
  • Your access is read-only: you can never add, change or delete anything in their diary, or open their settings.
  • Every time you look at their data it's logged, and they can see it: “Who has looked at your data”, with date and time.
  • The patient revokes your access whenever they want, and it expires on its own if they set a deadline.
  • The data lives on servers in the European Union and the processing complies with the GDPR.

Questions from professionals

How much does it cost?

Nothing. Your supporter account is free and has no limit on patients: the paid plans are for people who keep their own diary and want more AI analyses.

Do I have to register as a professional?

No. There's no licence check and no separate dashboard: you're a person your patients give access to, just like a relative. If your practice needs something more formal, write to us and we'll talk.

Does my patient need a FreeStyle Libre?

Not necessarily. With a sensor their readings arrive on their own (through LibreLinkUp or by importing the LibreView CSV); without one they can enter readings by hand and you still see what they log and its effect.

Can I write in their diary or correct something?

No. Access is read-only by design: what you see is what they logged. Your instructions keep going through the usual channels.

Does the patient see the notes I write about them?

No. Following notes are private: only the person who writes them can see them.

Can I use it with children or someone I care for?

Yes. It's the same supporter profile parents and carers use: whoever owns the account shares with you and you see their diary.

Start with one patient

Create your account, ask them to share their diary and look at their next week. If it isn't useful, just stop: there's no contract and nothing to cancel.
