1. What GlucoBeat is

GlucoBeat is a free web service to keep a personal diary of glucose and events (meals, exercise, insulin, medication, sleep and notes), see it in charts and statistics, share it in read-only mode and, optionally, request informational AI-generated analyses.

2. It is not a medical device

GlucoBeat does not diagnose, treat or prevent diseases, nor recommend doses of insulin or medication. It does not raise alarms. Statistics, estimates and analyses are informational, may contain errors and do not replace the judgement of your doctor or healthcare team. In an emergency call 112 (or your local emergency number).

3. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you log and for protecting access to your email. Only mark as trusted the devices you use yourself. You can close sessions and delete your account at any time.

4. Third-party platform integrations

GlucoBeat can receive your readings from platforms that are not ours, such as Abbott's LibreView and LibreLinkUp, either by importing the CSV file you download from them or by syncing automatically. Those platforms belong to their owners, are governed by their own terms, and GlucoBeat has no relationship with them and no control over them.

For that reason, as far as those platforms are concerned, GlucoBeat cannot guarantee anything and is not liable for:

• their stopping, failing or slowing down, so that your data cannot be retrieved while the problem lasts;
• their changing their format, interface or access method so that the integration stops working until we can adapt it, if it can be adapted at all;
• their changing their terms, restricting or charging for access, or withdrawing the service, so that the integration can no longer be offered;
• readings they send arriving late, incomplete or with errors that already come from the source.

If an integration becomes unavailable for any of these reasons, we will tell you in the app as soon as we know, the data already stored will stay in your account, and you will still be able to log by hand or import files as long as there is a way to obtain them.

This does not limit what does depend on us: how we store and display the data once received and the security of your encrypted credentials, nor your consumer rights, which remain intact.

LibreLinkUp sync is also a beta feature that uses an Abbott interface that is not published or officially documented. It may fail or stop working without notice and you enable it knowing this, with a separate consent you can withdraw at any time.

5. Artificial intelligence

AI features are only used if you enable them. Their answers are generated automatically, may be inaccurate and are filtered to exclude treatment advice. Use them as a starting point to talk with your healthcare team.

6. Sharing

When you invite someone, they will be able to see your charts and events for the chosen period. You can revoke access whenever you want. Whoever receives access agrees to use that data only to support you and not to disclose it.

7. Plans, price and subscription

GlucoBeat can be used for free. The Premium and Premium+ plans are optional and only raise the artificial intelligence limits and the automatic sync frequency: the diary, the charts, the statistics, importing and sharing are the same in all three plans.

Prices. The ones shown on the site are final prices, taxes included, and you see them before paying together with the period you chose (monthly or yearly) and the date of the next renewal.

Renewal. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, for the same amount and the same period, until you cancel it. We remind you by email before each yearly renewal.

Cancellation. You can cancel whenever you want from Settings → My plan, with no lock-in and no penalty. You keep your plan until the end of the period you have already paid for, and after that your account moves to the free plan without losing any data.

Plan changes. If you switch to a higher plan the change is immediate and today you pay only the proportional part left of the period, an amount we show you before you confirm. If you switch to a lower plan you pay nothing today: the change applies when the current period ends, and you can undo it until then.

Right of withdrawal. As a consumer you have fourteen calendar days to withdraw from a distance contract. When you subscribe you expressly ask us to start the subscription immediately and acknowledge that, once the service has started, you lose the right of withdrawal (art. 103.m of the Spanish Consumer Protection Act). This does not affect your rights if the service does not work as described: write to us and we will fix it or refund you.

Payments and invoices. Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.; we never see or store your card details. Every charge generates an invoice you can view and download in Settings → My plan. If a charge fails, your account moves to the free plan and we let you know: update your card and the charge is retried, bringing your plan back on its own. If a payment is fully refunded or a dispute is opened, the subscription is cancelled at that moment.

If you delete your account. Deleting it cancels your subscription at that very moment and no part of the period you had already paid for is refunded; we warn you before you confirm. Invoices already issued are kept by Stripe as a legal obligation, but you will no longer be able to download them from GlucoBeat: do it first if you need them.

Price changes. If we raise the price we will tell you by email at least thirty days before it applies to your next renewal, and you will be able to cancel beforehand at no cost. You will never be charged an amount you have not accepted.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use the service for unlawful purposes, try to access other people's data, automate abusive requests or interfere with its operation.

9. Liability

We provide the service diligently but without guaranteeing it is free of interruptions or errors. To the extent permitted by law, and without prejudice to your consumer rights, we are not liable for health decisions made solely on the basis of the app's information.

10. Changes and cancellation

We may update these terms; we will notify you of relevant changes. You can cancel at any time from Settings → My data.
