Cookie policy
GlucoBeat only uses technical cookies, essential for the service to work, and its own audience measurement, exempt from consent, which only runs on the public pages. We don't use Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics, campaign or advertising cookies, or social-network pixels. That's why there is no cookie banner and we don't ask for your consent. In the private app, where your health data lives, analytics and audience measurement are never used.
Technical cookies (no consent needed)
Exempt under art. 22.2 LSSI and the Spanish DPA (AEPD) guidance.

Audience measurement (no consent needed)
Only on the public pages, never in the app. These are two first-party random identifiers kept in your browser's storage (they are not cookies, but the same rules apply):
| Name | What it's for | Duration |
|---|---|---|
gb-visita (sessionStorage) |
Count visits | Until you close the tab |
gb-navegador (localStorage) |
Count how many different people visit us and how many come back | 13 months from creation; not renewed by visits |
They are not combined with any other data (not with your account or your health data), not used for advertising, not disclosed to third parties, and what is collected is deleted after 25 months. That is why they are exempt from consent (art. 22.2 LSSI and the AEPD guide “Use of cookies for audience measurement tools”, January 2024). Full details in the privacy policy.
How to delete them
You can delete or block cookies and identifiers whenever you like by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. If you delete the session cookie, you'll have to log in again.
If you visited GlucoBeat before October 2026, your browser may still hold cookies we no longer use (_ga and _ga_<ID>, from Google Analytics; gb_consent, from the old cookie banner; and gb_src, used to record on your account the campaign you arrived from): we delete them automatically on your next visit.
Links to external sites (for example, blog sources) take you to pages that may use their own cookies under their policies.
