Stop guessing what's behind your spikes

Control your glucose with AI and look after your health.

Your meter tells you how much; GlucoBeat tells you why: it matches your glucose with what you eat, exercise and insulin, and shows you what raises you, what lowers you and what keeps repeating. It works best with FreeStyle Libre, which brings in your readings without typing a thing, but any meter will do.

Free. No card.

A day with GlucoBeat

Example
Your glucose Target range 70180 Sleep
Events → consequences

You log what you do. GlucoBeat shows you what happened next.

Every meal, every walk, every insulin dose is an event. GlucoBeat follows your glucose over the next few hours and tells you its consequence in clear numbers, so you don't have to guess it from the curve.

  1. Bring your readings

Import the LibreView CSV with your whole history or connect LibreLinkUp so new readings arrive on their own. Using another meter? Log your readings by hand.

  2. Log what you do

Meals, exercise, insulin, medication or sleep, in seconds: the log button is always at hand, at the top of every screen, with the time already filled in.

  3. See what happened

For every event: how much you went up, how fast, when you got back to your level and whether you left your range.

Your dashboard

Every meal, with what it did to you.

When you open GlucoBeat you see your latest meals at a glance: what you ate, how much it raised you and what your glucose did over the next three hours. No need to open the day or guess from the curve.

  • The peak of every meal, in numbers.
  • The curve of the next 3 hours, with your range behind it.
  • Compare: the same dish, with a walk and without.

Your latest meals

Example
  • Toast with tomato and coffee
    Today, 8:40 · Peak +38 mg/dL
  • Margherita pizza
    Yesterday, 21:30 · Peak +92 mg/dL
  • Chicken and rice with a 20-minute walk
    Yesterday, 14:15 · Peak +74 mg/dL
  • Chicken and rice
    Monday, 14:05 · Peak +146 mg/dL
  • Salmon salad
    Sunday, 13:50 · Peak +21 mg/dL
Artificial intelligence

Discover the power of AI

GlucoBeat uses artificial intelligence models to help you decide with your own data, not generic tables: what suits you to eat right now and what is happening with your glucose week after week.

Can I eat this?

It doesn't stop at the carbs on the plate: it tells you whether it suits you, at this time of day and with the glucose you have right now.

  • It looks through your history for how similar meals went for you.
  • It starts from your current glucose, its trend and what you've eaten or the exercise you've done in the last few hours.
  • It takes the time into account: the same meal often doesn't sit the same at lunchtime as at night.
  • It gives you the expected peak, the estimated carbs and practical ideas to keep the rise smaller.
The AI's viewExample

A deep bowl of pasta with tomato and cheese, and an apple

Glucose now: 132 mg/dL ↗2:10 pm, before lunch3 similar meals in your history
With cautionYour history + general knowledge
Expected peak205mg/dL
Peak around 60 minutes≈ 95 g of carbs

At 132 and rising, this dish would take you above your range for quite a while.

Practical ideas

  1. A flat plate instead of a deep bowl would keep you close to your range.
  2. Start with a salad and keep the apple for an afternoon snack.
  3. The times you went for a walk after eating pasta, the peak was lower.

Analyse how you're doing

Pick a period and the AI goes through your readings and everything you've logged to tell you what keeps repeating.

  • Which meals raise you most and which barely move you.
  • How exercise affects you, including the following night.
  • At what times you tend to go low and what usually comes before.
  • Concrete questions to take to your appointment.

The AI only receives an anonymous summary of your data, and only when you ask it to. It never gives doses or diagnoses: it helps you decide and arrive at your appointment well informed.

Everything you need to understand yourself

Clear charts

Your day, week and month with zoom. Target range, colour zones, shaded sleep and every event in its place.

Statistics that matter

Time in range, variability, GMI, lows, AGP profile and comparison with the previous period.

Can I eat this?

Type what you fancy: we tell you how much similar meals raised you in your own history.

AI analysis

Pick some dates and get concrete patterns: what doesn't suit you, what does, when you tend to go low.

Share without losing control

Give read-only access to family or your doctor, for as long as you want. Revoke it any time.

Your type, your rules

Type 1, type 2 or no diabetes: the app adapts events, targets and texts to you.

Works with no connection

In a restaurant with no signal you can still log what you eat: it's kept on your phone and uploaded on its own as soon as you're back online. And if you add GlucoBeat to your home screen, it opens instantly, like any other app.

Don't forget your medication

Daily, weekly or fortnightly reminders, at the time you choose. And tapping the notification opens the entry ready to go: all you do is save it.

Healthcare professionals

Ideal for doctors

If you look after people with diabetes, ask them to share their diary with you: you'll see what really happened between appointments, not what they remember on the day. And you can keep your own notes on each of them, visible only to you.

  • Read-only access, for as long as the patient decides, and revocable by them at any time.
  • Their readings, what they log and the effect it had: meals, exercise, insulin and medication.
  • Your private notes on each patient, right on their card.
  • Every access is on the record: the patient always sees who looked at their data.

GlucoBeat is not a medical device: it doesn't diagnose or recommend doses. It's your patient's diary, in order.

Why GlucoBeat exists

“My sensor told me how much. I wanted to know why.”

I'm Diego: I live with diabetes and I work as a CTO as a Service for several startups. I got tired of fighting apps that wouldn't let me zoom in, jump between dates or understand what had thrown my glucose off, so I built the one I needed. And now it's yours too.

Frequently asked questions

Does GlucoBeat replace my doctor?

No. It's a diary that records, visualises and shows correlations in your data. It doesn't diagnose or recommend doses. Use it to arrive at your appointment with clear information.

Does it work with my FreeStyle Libre?

Yes. You can import the official LibreView CSV (Libre 1, 2, 3 and Plus) or enable automatic sync with LibreLinkUp (beta).

How much does it cost?

The diary, the statistics, the charts and sharing are free, with no card and no trial period. If you use the AI a lot, Premium and Premium+ raise the limits and sync LibreLinkUp more often: you pay monthly or yearly (with two months free), you cancel whenever you want, and what's free stays free.

What if I don't have diabetes?

You can use it in “tracking only” mode to learn how food, exercise and sleep affect you.

Do I have to install an app?

You don't need to: it works in the browser. If you install it from the browser itself (“Add to home screen”), it opens instantly and you can receive reminders.

Does it work with no signal?

Yes for what matters: you can log a meal or a note offline and it uploads on its own once you're back online. Seeing your charts does need a connection.

Can it remind me to take my medication?

Yes. You set daily, weekly or fortnightly reminders, and tapping the notification opens the entry ready to save.

What exactly does the AI do?

Only what you ask it to: analyse a period of yours or answer “can I eat this?” using your own history. It receives an anonymous summary, never your name or email, and it never recommends doses.

Who sees my data?

Only you and the people you invite, in read-only mode and for the time you choose. Who looked is on the record.

Can I take my data with me, or delete it?

Whenever you like: download everything in one file with one click and delete your account with email confirmation. There's nobody to write to and nothing to wait for.
