Chicken and rice
Your sensor shows you the curve. GlucoBeat helps you understand it
Relate meals, exercise, sleep and medication to your glucose and discover which patterns repeat in your own data: how much you rose after each meal, how long it took to come back and what changed when you went for a walk. It works best with FreeStyle Libre, which brings in your readings without typing a thing, but any meter will do.
Free. No card.
A day with GlucoBeat
ExampleYou log what you do. GlucoBeat shows you what happened next
Every meal, every walk, every insulin dose is an event. GlucoBeat follows your glucose over the next few hours and tells you its consequence in clear numbers, so you don't have to guess it from the curve.
Bring your readings
Import the LibreView CSV with your whole history or connect LibreLinkUp so new readings arrive on their own. Using another meter? Log your readings by hand.
Log what you do
Meals, exercise, insulin, medication or sleep, in seconds: the log button is always at hand, at the top of every screen, with the time already filled in.
See what happened
For every event: how much you went up, how fast, when you got back to your level and whether you left your range.
Who is GlucoBeat for?
The app adapts to your type of diabetes, and if you don't have diabetes, too.
Type 2 diabetes
Food, walks and medication: the cleanest case to see what repeats.
Type 1 diabetes
Every meal read with insulin and exercise next to it. Never doses.
No diabetes
Tracking with a sensor to know yourself, no clinical vocabulary.
Families
Your children, your parents… how each one is doing, on a single page.
Every meal, with what it did to you
When you open GlucoBeat you see your latest meals at a glance: what you ate, how much it raised you and what your glucose did over the next three hours. No need to open the day or guess from the curve.
- The peak of every meal, in numbers.
- The curve of the next 3 hours, with your range behind it.
- Compare: the same dish, with a walk and without.
Your latest meals
Example- Toast with tomato and coffee
Today, 8:40 · Peak +38 mg/dL - Margherita pizza
Yesterday, 21:30 · Peak +92 mg/dL - Chicken and rice with a 20-minute walk
Yesterday, 14:15 · Peak +74 mg/dL - Chicken and rice
Monday, 14:05 · Peak +146 mg/dL - Salmon salad
Sunday, 13:50 · Peak +21 mg/dL
Find out what works for you. Check it with your own data
Only what happened in your diary, with how many times it was seen, in what range and with what confidence. The more you log, the more it knows about you.
Your usual response
ExampleChicken with rice
- Times logged
- 7
- Median rise
- +54 mg/dL
- Usual range
- +39 to +71
- Peak at
- 62–88 min
- Back to starting level
- 2 h 35 min
- With a walk after
- +31 mg/dL (3 times)
- Without a walk
- +68 mg/dL (4 times)
- Confidence
- Medium
You can't see this by looking at the curve: the same meal, seven times, with what changed when you walked afterwards.
A one-page report
To take to your appointment. At the top, the standard figures your care team uses; below, what repeats in your diary.
- Time in range, below and above, variability and GMI.
- Your typical day (AGP profile).
- Repeated meals, late versus early dinner, exercise and nights with lows.
- Free, and whoever follows you can download it too.
Experiments
ExampleYou choose what to compare. GlucoBeat pools what you log from then on and shows you the medians once there are enough observations.
| A walk after dinner | With a walk | Without |
|---|---|---|
| Comparable dinners | 5 | 5 |
| Median rise | +37 | +71 mg/dL |
| Minutes above 180 | 12 | 46 |
| Back to previous level | 112 min | 168 min |
In these 10 observations, dinners followed by a walk were followed by a smaller rise. Medium confidence.
AI that reads your data, not generic tables
GlucoBeat uses artificial intelligence models to help you understand your own data, not generic tables: how meals similar to the one you fancy went for you and what repeats in your glucose week after week.
How would this affect me?
It doesn't stop at the carbs on the plate: it starts from how similar meals went for you, at this time of day and with the glucose you have right now.
- First, your data: how similar meals went for you.
- It starts from your glucose now, its trend and what you've done in the last few hours.
- It takes the time into account: lunch and dinner don't sit the same.
- It shows your usual response in your data, an estimate with a range and what tends to make a difference.
Analyse how you're doing
Pick a period and the AI goes through your readings and everything you've logged to tell you what keeps repeating.
- Which meals raise you most and which barely move you.
- How exercise affects you, including the following night.
- At what times you tend to go low and what usually comes before.
- Concrete questions to take to your appointment.
The AI only receives a pseudonymised summary of your data, with no name or email, and only when you ask it to. It never gives doses or diagnoses: it helps you understand and arrive at your appointment well informed.
Everything you need to understand yourself
Clear charts
Your day, week and month with zoom. Target range, colour zones, shaded sleep and every event in its place.
Statistics that matter
Time in range, variability, GMI, lows, AGP profile and comparison with the previous period.
Your usual response
The same dish, seven times: median rise, usual range, time to peak and what changed the times you walked afterwards. With its n and its confidence.
How would this affect me?
Type what you fancy: first what happened in your diary with similar meals and, if you want, an AI estimate with a range and what tends to make a difference.
A report for your appointment
One page: time in range, variability, GMI and AGP at the top; what repeats in your diary below. Free, to take to your doctor.
AI analysis
Pick some dates and get concrete patterns: what doesn't suit you, what does, when you tend to go low.
Nothing slips through
If you forget to log a meal, GlucoBeat spots the rise it left in your glucose curve and suggests the approximate time. The app asks you about it: all you do is say what it was.
Share without losing control
Give read-only access to family or your doctor, for as long as you want. Revoke it any time.
Your type, your rules
Type 1, type 2 or no diabetes: the app adapts events, targets and texts to you.
Works with no connection
In a restaurant with no signal you can still log what you eat: it's kept on your phone and uploaded on its own as soon as you're back online. And if you add GlucoBeat to your home screen, it opens instantly, like any other app.
Don't forget your medication
Daily, weekly or fortnightly reminders, at the time you choose. And tapping the notification opens the entry ready to go: all you do is save it.
Experiments
What happens if you go for a walk after dinner? 21 different comparisons: log each situation a few times and GlucoBeat compares with your own data, with its n and its confidence.
Ideal for doctors
If you look after people with diabetes, ask them to share their diary with you: you'll see what really happened between appointments, not what they remember on the day. And you can keep your own notes on each of them, visible only to you.
- Read-only access, for as long as the patient decides, and revocable by them at any time.
- Their readings, what they log and the effect it had: meals, exercise, insulin and medication.
- Your private notes on each patient, right on their card.
- Every access is on the record: the patient always sees who looked at their data.
- Their one-page report: the standard figures (TIR, CV, GMI, AGP) and what repeats in their diary, for any period you choose.
GlucoBeat is not a medical device: it doesn't diagnose or recommend doses. It's your patient's diary, in order.
I'm Diego: I live with diabetes and I work as a CTO as a Service for several startups. I got tired of fighting apps that wouldn't let me zoom in, jump between dates or understand what had thrown my glucose off, so I built the one I needed. And now it's yours too. We don't want to give you more data: we want to help you learn from the data you already have.

Frequently asked questions
Does GlucoBeat replace my doctor?
No. It's a diary that records, visualises and shows correlations in your data. It doesn't diagnose or recommend doses. Use it to arrive at your appointment with clear information.
Does it work with my FreeStyle Libre?
Yes. You can import the official LibreView CSV (Libre 1, 2, 3 and Plus) or enable automatic sync with LibreLinkUp (beta).
How much does it cost?
The diary, the statistics, the charts, “How would this affect me?” with your historical data and sharing are free, with no card and no trial period. Premium and Premium+ widen the limits (AI, experiments, reminders) and sync LibreLinkUp more often: you pay monthly or yearly (with two months free), you cancel whenever you want, and what's free stays free.
What if I don't have diabetes?
You can use it in “tracking only” mode to learn how food, exercise and sleep affect you. It has its own page: GlucoBeat without diabetes.
Do I have to install an app?
You don't need to: it works in the browser. If you install it from the browser itself (“Add to home screen”), it opens instantly and you can receive reminders.
Does it work with no signal?
Yes for what matters: you can log a meal or a note offline and it uploads on its own once you're back online. Seeing your charts does need a connection.
Can it remind me to take my medication?
Yes. You set daily, weekly or fortnightly reminders, and tapping the notification opens the entry ready to save.
What exactly does the AI do?
Only what you ask it to: analyse a period of yours or answer “can I eat this?” using your own history. It receives a pseudonymised summary, never your name or email, and it never recommends doses.
Can I check whether something works for me?
Yes: open an experiment (“a walk after dinner”, “late or early dinner”, “two meals head to head”…) and log each situation a few times. With at least three observations per group, GlucoBeat shows you the medians and the confidence. Associations in your data, not causes or advice.
Can I bring something to my doctor?
Yes: the one-page report, which you download from Statistics for any period. Time in range, variability, GMI and AGP at the top; what repeats in your diary below. Free. And whoever follows you can download it too.
Who sees my data?
Only you and the people you invite, in read-only mode and for the time you choose. Who looked is on the record.
Can I take my data with me, or delete it?
Whenever you like: download everything in one file with one click and delete your account with email confirmation. There's nobody to write to and nothing to wait for.
